Antibody detects endogenous levels of total CNOT6.
Target Information
Poly(A) nuclease with 3'-5' RNase activity. Catalytic component of the CCR4-NOT complex, a major cellular mRNA deadenylase linked to processes such as mRNA degradation, miRNA-mediated repression, translational repression, and transcription regulation. Also involved in mRNA decay mediated by the mCRD of the FOS gene. In the presence of ZNF335, enhances ligand-dependent transcriptional activity of nuclear hormone receptors including RARA, with limited effect on ESR1-mediated transcription. Mediates cell proliferation and survival, preventing cellular senescence.
