Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Isocitrate dehydrogenases such as IDH1 catalyze the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to 2-oxoglutarate.
These enzymes are divided into subclasses utilizing either NAD(+) or NADP(+).
IDH1 is the NADP(+)-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase found in the cytoplasm and peroxisomes and contains a PTS-1 peroxisomal targeting signal sequence.
Its presence in peroxisomes indicates roles in NADPH regeneration for intraperoxisomal reductions and other metabolic reactions.
This antibody is specific for IDH1 (mutant R132H).
