Target Information
RPS15A is a component of the small 40S ribosomal subunit, which together with the large 60S subunit forms the ribosome. The ribosome comprises 4 RNA species and about 80 distinct proteins. RPS15A belongs to the S8P family of ribosomal proteins and is localized in the cytoplasm. Multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene are dispersed throughout the genome.
