Plexin A1은 SEMA3A, SEMA3C, SEMA3F 및 SEMA6D의 coreceptor로 작용하며, class 3 semaphorin 신호 전달 및 세포골격 재구성에 필수적입니다. 축삭 유도, 침습적 성장, 세포 이동에 관여합니다. Class 3 semaphorin은 neuropilin과 plexin 복합체에 결합하며, plexin의 세포질 도메인은 세포 내 신호전달 활성화에 필요합니다.
