Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, an additional desalting step is recommended.

Target Information
FOXO4 (Forkhead box O4) is encoded by the FOXO4 gene located on the X chromosome. Also known as AFX1 or MLLT7, it belongs to the O class of forkhead/winged helix transcription factors along with FOXO1, FOXO3, and FOXO6.
FOXO4 is abundantly expressed in skeletal muscle and adipose tissue, binds to the Insulin Responsive Element (IRE), and activates downstream targets of Insulin/IGF1 signaling such as IGFBP1.
Phosphorylation of FOXO4 by Akt mediates its binding to 14-3-3 and subsequent nuclear export.
