Target Information
CARMIL은 세포막-세포골격 관련 단백질로, 액틴 필라멘트의 바브드 엔드(barbed end)에서의 중합 조절에 관여합니다. 이동 세포의 선단부에서 F-actin 헤테로다이머성 캡핑 단백질(CP) 활성을 억제하여 액틴 중합을 촉진하며, 필라멘트 핵형성은 수행하지 않습니다. 또한 lamellipodia 돌출 형성과 세포 이동에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
