Target Information
CD177 (NB1/HNA-2a and PRV-1 form) is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein mainly expressed on neutrophils. Its membrane expression increases during pregnancy, inflammation, or after G-CSF application. CD177 interacts with CD31 (PECAM-1) and plays a role in neutrophil transmigration and proliferation. Antibodies against CD177 may be associated with neonatal alloimmune neutropenia (NAN).
