Target Information
The TBX19 gene belongs to the T-box family of transcription factors, which play critical roles in developmental regulation. Mutations in this gene are associated with isolated deficiency of pituitary POMC-derived ACTH, leading to adrenal insufficiency symptoms such as weight loss, anorexia, weakness, nausea, vomiting, and low blood pressure.
