Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that shares sequence similarity with IL17. Treatment of endothelial cells with this cytokine stimulates production of other cytokines including IL6, IL8, and CSF2/GM-CSF. Increased IL8 expression induced by this cytokine is NF-kappa B-dependent.
