Product Specific Information

Rehydrate with 1.1 mL of deionized water and let stand for 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve. (Product has been overfilled to ensure complete recovery.) Centrifuge to remove particulates. Prepare fresh working dilution daily. Store lyophilized material at 2–8°C. For long-term storage after reconstitution, dilute with 50% glycerol and store at -20°C as a liquid.
Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin goat serum immunoglobulins, light chains on all goat immunoglobulins, goat IgG F(ab')₂ fragment, or human serum proteins.

Target Information

Anti-Goat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for goat immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility, allowing use with various detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and provide greater sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
