Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Carbonic Anhydrase I, III, and XIII is observed.
- Less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Carbonic Anhydrase IV, VIII, IX, X, XII, and XIV.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS before use.
Target Information
CA2 (Carbonic Anhydrase II) is one of several isozymes of carbonic anhydrase that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide.
Defects in this enzyme are associated with osteopetrosis and renal tubular acidosis.
