Target Information
RAB3IP는 Guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF)로서 RAB8A 및 RAB8B를 활성화시킬 수 있습니다. GDP를 GTP로 교환하여 불활성 상태의 GDP 결합형 Rab 단백질을 활성화된 GTP 결합형으로 전환합니다. RAB8A 및 RAB8B에서는 GDP 방출을 매개하지만 RAB3A나 RAB5에서는 그렇지 않습니다. 또한 actin 조직을 조절하고 RAB8A 특이적 소포의 세포 표면으로의 극성 수송을 촉진합니다. RAB11A, RAB8A, exocyst complex, PARD3, PRKCI, ANXA2, CDC42, DNMBP와 함께 PODXL의 apical membrane initiation sites(AMIS)로의 transcytosis, apical surface 형성 및 lumenogenesis를 촉진합니다.
