Target Information

Adrenergic receptors (ARs)는 7-transmembrane domain G-protein-coupled receptor(GPCR) 초가족에 속하며, 내인성 카테콜아민(epinephrine, norepinephrine)과 결합합니다.
현재까지 9개의 수용체 아형이 확인되었으며, α1 (1A/D, 1B, 1C), α2 (2A, 2B, 2C), β (1, 2, 3)로 구분됩니다.

ARs는 고혈압, 심부전, 허혈, 부정맥, 당뇨, 녹내장, 우울증, 발기부전 등 다양한 질환의 발현 및 유지에 관여합니다.
β1AR은 심장 기능, 평활근 긴장도, 대사 조절 등 다양한 생리 과정에 참여하며, B1AR 유전자 결손 마우스는 대부분 태생기에 사망하거나 성체에서 비정상적인 심장 기능을 보입니다.
또한, 갑상선 호르몬에 의한 β1AR 발현 조절은 전사 수준에서 이루어지며, catecholamine-sensitive adenylyl cyclase 시스템에 의해 조절됩니다.
