Target Information
CD34는 약 111–115 kDa의 고도로 당화된 단량체 표면 단백질로, 다양한 줄기세포 집단에서 발현됩니다. 인간 조혈 줄기세포에서의 CD34 발현은 가역적이며, 세포 부착, 분화, 증식 조절에 관여할 수 있습니다.
CD34는 줄기세포가 골수 기질 세포나 세포외기질에 부착하도록 매개하는 접착 분자로 추정되며, 선택적 당사슬 부착을 위한 발판 역할을 할 수 있습니다. 또한, 세포 내 사슬은 단백질 키나아제 C에 의해 인산화되어 신호전달에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
CD34 이상과 관련된 질환으로는 피부섬유육종(dermatofibrosarcoma) 및 신경섬유종(neurofibroma)이 보고되어 있습니다.
