Target Information
Angiogenin (ANG or ANG I)는 신생혈관 형성과 신혈관 생성(neovascularization)에 중요한 역할을 하는 단백질입니다. 이 단백질은 췌장 리보뉴클레아제 A와 유사하며, 세포 내 tRNA를 특이적으로 절단하여 단백질 합성을 억제하는 tRNA 특이적 리보뉴클레아제로 기능합니다. Angiogenin은 내피세포 표면의 액틴(actin)과 상호작용하여 세포 골격 변화를 유도할 수 있으며, 고형 종양의 발달에 관여한다고 알려져 있습니다. 또한 ALS9(근위축성 측삭경화증 9형)과 같은 신경퇴행성 질환의 감수성과 관련이 있으며, ALS와 파킨슨병(PD) 간의 유전적 연관성을 보여줍니다.
