Product Specific Information
The 11-26c monoclonal antibody reacts with the delta heavy chain of mouse IgD and does not cross-react with other immunoglobulin classes (IgA, IgG, IgM). IgD is expressed on peripheral mature B cells, and this clone does not activate B cells.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: Mouse splenocytes at ≤0.125 µg/test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)
- Fluorochrome Info: PerCP-eFluor® 710 emits at 710 nm, excited by 488 nm (blue laser). Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass (695/40 acceptable).
- Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54).
- Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
IgD is a type I transmembrane protein co-expressed with membrane IgM on mature naive B cells and also found as a soluble form in serum. It associates with the B cell receptor, mediating signal transduction upon antigen binding.
