Target Information
This gene encodes a WD repeat protein that interacts with Cockayne syndrome type B (CSB) protein and p44 protein, a subunit of RNA polymerase II transcription factor IIH.
Mutations in this gene are associated with hereditary Cockayne syndrome (CS), characterized by abnormal sensitivity to ultraviolet radiation and defective repair of transcriptionally active genes.
