Target Information
SPANXA1 (also named SPANXA and SPANXA2) is a member of the SPANX family of cancer/testis-associated genes. It encodes differentially expressed testis-specific proteins that localize to various subcellular compartments.
On Western blots of human testis proteins, SPANX antibodies react with bands migrating between 15–30 kDa.
The SPANX protein may be a useful target in cancer immunotherapy.
