Target Information
INSIG2는 INSIG1 단백질과 매우 유사한 내막단백질로, SREBP cleavage-activating protein(SCAP)에 결합하여 sterol regulatory element binding proteins(SREBPs)의 처리 과정을 차단합니다. 이로써 SCAP이 SREBPs를 골지체로 운반하는 것을 방지합니다.
