Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
Idu (Idoxuridine) is a nucleoside analogue derived from deoxyuridine. It incorporates into viral DNA during replication, but the iodine atom on the uracil component prevents proper base pairing. Due to cardiotoxicity, it is used only topically. Idoxuridine was first synthesized by William Prusoff in the late 1950s.
