Product Specific Information

Description:
The 3.9 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD11c, the 150 kDa integrin alpha X chain. CD11c associates with beta2 integrin to form the CD11c/CD18 heterodimer, expressed on monocytes, granulocytes, macrophages, NK cells, dendritic cells, and subsets of T and B lymphocytes. The complex binds CD54, iC3b, and fibrinogen, playing a role in leukocyte adhesion.

Applications Reported:
Used for flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested on human peripheral blood cells. Recommended use: 5 µL (0.5 µg)/test in 100 µL final volume. Suitable for 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Fluorophore Information:
APC-eFluor® 780 emits at 780 nm, excited by a 633 nm Red laser. Ensure instrument compatibility.

Handling Notes:

• Light-sensitive: protect vial and samples from light.
• Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.
• Excitation: 633–647 nm; Emission: 780 nm; Laser: Red.
• Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

CD11, with CD18, forms a heterodimer adhesion molecule.

• CD11a: Expressed in B/T lymphocytes, macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils.
• CD11b: Expressed in monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some B/T cells, granulocytes.
• CD11c: Expressed in monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some granulocytes, and a subset of lymphocytes.
