Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double-distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
Upon arrival, store at −20 °C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4 °C for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, aliquot and store at −20 °C.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Protein kinases transfer phosphate groups from donors (usually ATP) onto substrate proteins, regulating key cellular processes such as metabolism, transcription, cell cycle, cytoskeletal arrangement, movement, apoptosis, and differentiation.
With over 500 gene products, the kinase family is one of the largest in eukaryotes.
They are classified into 8 major groups based on sequence similarities of catalytic domains.
The STE group (homologs of yeast Sterile 7, 11, 20 kinases) includes kinases related to the MAPK cascade (Ste7/MAP2K, Ste11/MAP3K, Ste20/MAP4K).
MAP kinase cascades are well characterized in yeast pheromone response pathways, where pheromones activate surface receptors and initiate MAPK signaling.
