Product Specific Information
Neutralization: At a concentration of 0.05–0.15 µg/mL, this antibody blocks 50% of the binding of recombinant mouse PlGF2 (4 ng/mL) to immobilized recombinant human Flt1/Fc Chimera (4 µg/mL of a 100 µL solution coated per well) in an ELISA assay.
Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial.
Target Information
Placental growth factor (PlGF) is a member of the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family. PlGF is a pleiotropic factor that affects different cell types and regulates various biological responses. The activity of VEGF, one of the most potent angiogenic mediators, is partly modulated by PlGF. It plays a major role in vasculogenesis and angiogenesis in the human placenta.
