Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The APPL1 protein is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation and mediates crosstalk between adiponectin and insulin signaling pathways. It interacts with multiple proteins including RAB5A, DCC, AKT2, PIK3CA, adiponectin receptors, and members of the NuRD/MeCP1 complex. APPL1 is primarily associated with endosomal membranes but can be released by EGF stimulation and translocated to the nucleus.
