Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They combine multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, delivering both the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies and the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, with the consistency only achievable through recombinant production.

While functionally similar to polyclonal antibodies—recognizing multiple epitopes and providing higher sensitivity for low-abundance targets—these recombinant Superclonal™ antibodies have a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility across lots and eliminating biological variability.

Target Information

EZH2 (Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase) is a member of the Polycomb-group (PcG) family. These proteins form multimeric complexes that maintain transcriptional repression over successive cell generations. EZH2 interacts with proteins such as the embryonic ectoderm development protein, VAV1 oncoprotein, and X-linked nuclear protein. It may play roles in hematopoietic and central nervous system development. Mutations in EZH2 are associated with Weaver syndrome (WVS).
