Target Information
ChM-1은 연골 특이적 기질 당단백질로, 연골세포의 성장을 자극하고 혈관 신생을 억제하여 연골의 무혈관성을 유지합니다.
ChM-1은 장골의 성장판 내 증식 및 비대 구역에서 강하게 발현되며, lacunae 주변의 간영역 기질에 축적됩니다.
발달 과정 중 ChM-1의 발현이 감소하면 혈관 신생이 유도되고, 최종적으로 연골 기반의 골 형성이 이루어집니다.
TGFβ2, FGF2, PTHLH 등의 성장인자 존재 시 ChM-1 발현이 하향 조절되며, 이는 다형선종의 저혈관성 및 연골양 형성에도 관련될 수 있습니다.
인간 ChM-1 유전자는 염색체 13q14-q21에 위치합니다.
