Target Information
SIK1은 LKB1의 생리적 효과를 매개하며, 종양 억제 기능과 관련이 있습니다. 또한 STRAD, NUAK1, NUAK2, BRSK1, BRSK2, QIK, QSK, SIK, MARK1–4, MELK 등 다양한 단백질 신호전달에 관여합니다.
Thr322 잔기의 인산화를 통한 SIK1 활성화는 세포막의 Na⁺/K⁺ ATPase α-서브유닛의 촉매 활성을 증가시켜 세포 내 나트륨 농도를 높입니다.
이 단백질군은 PTK 또는 STK kinase 도메인 서열 비교를 기반으로 8개의 주요 그룹으로 분류됩니다. 그중 STE 그룹은 MAPK cascade 관련 kinase (Ste7/MAP2K, Ste11/MAP3K, Ste20/MAP4K)를 포함하며, MAP kinase cascade는 효모의 페로몬 반응 경로에서 잘 알려져 있습니다.
