Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
Ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Centrifuge antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
GPR83 is a 423 amino acid orphan GPCR, closely related to tachykinin and NPY receptors.
It is a human homolog of mouse GIR protein, predominantly expressed in the brain.
GPR83 is a cell surface receptor with seven transmembrane domains.
It may play a role in immune tolerance by inducing peripheral generation of Foxp3+ Treg cells.
