Target Information
CNOT4는 575 아미노산으로 구성된 E3 ubiquitin ligase 활성을 가진 단백질로, 단백질 변형 및 유비퀴틴화 과정에 관여합니다. C4C4 타입의 ring zinc finger domain, RNA recognition motif, bipartite nuclear localization signal을 포함합니다.
CCR4-NOT (CAF1) 복합체의 구성요소로서 전사 조절에 관여하며, 다양한 유전자들의 발현을 양·음성으로 조절합니다. CNOT4는 CNOT1과 C-말단을 통해 상호작용하며, E2 ubiquitin ligase와는 C4C4 RING domain을 통해 결합합니다. 또한 DNA 손상 반응 시 ATM 및 ATR 인식 부위에서 인산화되는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
