Target Information
Adenylyl cyclase-associated protein 1 (CAP1) is an enzyme encoded by the human CAP1 gene, located at 1p34.2.
This protein is homologous to the S. cerevisiae CAP protein involved in the cyclic AMP pathway and interacts with CAP2 and actin.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified.
