Target Information
MIA3 단백질은 COPII 코팅 소포에 담기 어려운 대형 화물 단백질의 수송에 관여합니다. 특히 콜라겐 VII (COL7A1)의 분비에 필수적이며, COL7A1을 운반체로 적재하는 과정에서 Sec23/24 서브유닛과 결합하여 SH3 결합된 COL7A1을 운반체로 안내합니다.
이 단백질은 일반적인 단백질 분비에는 관여하지 않으며, COL7A1 특이적 화물 적재에 주로 기능합니다. 또한 COL7A1을 분비하지 않는 세포에서는 다른 단백질의 분비에도 관여할 수 있습니다. 지질단백질의 분비에도 필요하며, 소포체 출구 부위(ERES)에서 COPII 코트 구성 요소의 조립과 SEC16A 및 MIA2-PREB/SEC12 복합체의 위치 조정에 필수적입니다.
