Target Information
The CDC5L protein shares significant similarity with the Schizosaccharomyces pombe cdc5 gene product, a cell cycle regulator important for the G2/M transition.
It acts as a positive regulator of cell cycle G2/M progression and is an essential component of a non-snRNA spliceosome complex required for the second catalytic step of pre-mRNA splicing.
