Target Information
Kynureninase는 pyridoxal-5'-phosphate (pyridoxal-P) 의존성 효소로, L-kynurenine과 L-3-hydroxykynurenine을 각각 anthranilic acid 및 3-hydroxyanthranilic acid로 절단하는 반응을 촉매합니다.
이 효소는 tryptophan으로부터 NAD 보조인자 생합성에 관여하는 kynurenine 경로의 일부입니다.
두 개의 전사 변이체가 존재하며, 각각 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
