Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
When using this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The PDE4B gene belongs to the type IV, cyclic AMP (cAMP)-specific phosphodiesterase family. These enzymes regulate intracellular cAMP levels, which are key second messengers mediating cellular responses to hormones, light, and neurotransmitters.
PDE4B specifically hydrolyzes cAMP, and altered activity of this enzyme has been associated with schizophrenia and bipolar affective disorder. Multiple splice variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
