Product Specific Information

  • For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
  • For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step.

Target Information

This gene encodes a nuclear protein involved in cell-cycle regulation. The encoded protein acts as a ubiquitin-ligase capable of ubiquinating PCNP (PEST-containing nuclear protein), potentially playing a role in tumorigenesis.
It contains several functional domains, including:

  • NIRF_N domain
  • PHD finger
  • Set- and ring-associated (SRA) domain
  • RING finger domain

These domains are essential for regulating cell proliferation. The protein may also contribute to intranuclear degradation of polyglutamine aggregates. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, some of which are non-protein coding.
