• Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Aquaporins (AQP0–AQP10) are membrane water channels widely distributed in mammalian tissues.
While most AQPs transport only water, AQP3, AQP7, AQP9, and one AQP10 isoform can also transport urea and glycerol.
AQP2 is vasopressin-regulated and crucial for water reabsorption in the kidney collecting duct.
Aquaporins contribute to renal water absorption, pulmonary secretion, tear production, and cerebrospinal fluid regulation.
In the lung, AQP5 mediates water transport across the apical membrane of type I alveolar epithelial cells.
