Target Information
ERp72는 소포체 내강에 존재하는 스트레스 단백질로, 단백질 이황화 결합 이성질화 효소(PDI) 계열에 속합니다.
ERp72는 PDI와 세 구간에서 서열 상동성을 가지며, C-말단에 ER 유지 신호(KEEL)를 포함하고 있습니다.
또한 PDI에서 발견되는 CGHC 활성 부위를 세 개 포함하고 있으며, 이는 단백질 이황화 결합 이성질화 과정에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
이러한 특성으로 ERp72는 CGHC-함유 단백질 계열의 새로운 분자로서 분자 샤페론 기능을 수행하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
