Target Information
Vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP)는 신경 보호 인자로, 일부 종양 세포의 성장을 촉진하거나 억제하는 효과를 가집니다. 이 항체가 인식하는 KIF7 단백질은 VIP에 의해 발현이 증가하며, 전사 인자로 기능할 수 있는 homeobox와 zinc finger 도메인을 포함합니다. 또한 정상 증식 조직에서도 발현이 증가하며, p53 활성 조절을 통해 세포 생존성을 높일 수 있습니다. 동일 단백질을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 전사체도 보고되었습니다.
