Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
WDR4 is required for 7-methylguanosine modification of tRNA and belongs to the WD repeat protein family.
WD repeats are conserved regions (~40 amino acids) that facilitate formation of multiprotein complexes involved in processes such as:
- Cell cycle progression
- Signal transduction
- Apoptosis
- Gene regulation
This protein is excluded as a candidate for nonsyndromic deafness (DFNB10) but remains a candidate for other disorders mapped to 21q22.3 and for Down syndrome phenotypes.
Alternative splicing generates at least three transcript variants encoding the same protein.
