Target Information
RB-like 1은 retinoblastoma 1 (RB1) 유전자 산물과 서열 및 기능이 유사한 단백질로, 세포주기 조절에 관여하는 종양 억제 단백질입니다. RB1 단백질은 S기에서 M기로 전환될 때 인산화되고 G1기에서는 탈인산화되며, adenovirus E1A 및 SV40 large T-antigen과 복합체를 형성할 수 있습니다. 두 단백질 모두 E2F 결합 부위를 가진 세포주기 유전자 전사를 억제할 수 있으며, 이러한 유사성으로 인해 RB-like 1 또한 종양 억제 기능을 가질 것으로 추정됩니다.
