Target Information

ID4는 basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) 모티프를 포함하는 전사 인자로, 포유류 및 곤충 시스템에서 조직 특이적 유전자의 발현을 조절합니다. bHLH 단백질의 DNA 결합 활성은 호모 또는 헤테로다이머 형성에 의존합니다. ID4와 같은 Id 관련 유전자가 암호화하는 HLH 단백질은 HLH 이합체화 도메인은 포함하지만 DNA 결합 도메인은 결여되어 있어, bHLH 단백질과의 이합체화를 통해 DNA 결합과 전사 활성화를 억제합니다.
