Target Information
E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that mediates ubiquitination of TFRC, CD86, FAS and MHC class II proteins (HLA-DR alpha and beta). Promotes endocytosis and lysosomal sorting via multivesicular bodies. In immature dendritic cells, constitutive ubiquitination of MHC class II proteins down-regulates their surface localization, retaining them in the endosomal system.
