Target Information
VE-cadherin은 cadherin superfamily의 구성원으로, 염색체 16번 장완의 여섯 개 cadherin 클러스터에 위치합니다. 이 단백질은 칼슘 의존적 세포 간 접착 당단백질로, 5개의 세포외 cadherin 반복 영역, 막관통 영역, 그리고 보존된 세포질 꼬리를 포함합니다. VE-cadherin은 내피세포 간 접합의 응집성과 조직화를 조절함으로써 내피세포 생물학에서 중요한 역할을 할 수 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱 변형체가 보고되었으나, 전체 길이 서열은 완전히 규명되지 않았습니다.
