Target Information
The CHD4 gene product belongs to the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family. It is a major component of the nucleosome remodeling and deacetylase (NuRD) complex and plays an important role in epigenetic transcriptional repression. Autoantibodies against this protein are found in patients with dermatomyositis.
