Target Information
STMN2 (also known as SCG-10) is a neuronal growth-associated protein sharing significant sequence similarity with stathmin. It may play a role in neuronal differentiation and in modulating membrane interaction with the cytoskeleton during neurite outgrowth. Reduced expression has been linked to Down’s syndrome and Alzheimer’s disease.
