Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
SOX9는 성 결정 및 Sertoli 세포의 분화에 관여하며, 연골형성 과정에서 중요한 역할을 하는 전사인자입니다. SOX9 유전자의 전좌는 campomelic dysplasia를 유발할 수 있습니다. 또한 태아의 생식샘에서 고환 형성에 관여하며, 신경-교세포 전환, 전립선 상피 발달, 신경능선 세포 형성 등 다양한 생리적 과정에 중요한 기능을 수행합니다. 프로스타트암에서는 SOX9의 기능이 종양 성장과 침윤을 촉진하는 방향으로 변형될 수 있습니다. Northern blot 분석 결과, SOX9는 성인 고환, 성인 심장, 태아 뇌에서 발현됩니다.
