V-ATPase 의존적 소기관 산성화는 단백질 분류, 효소 전구체 활성화, 수용체 매개성 엔도사이토시스 및 시냅스 소포 내 프로톤 구배 형성과 같은 세포 내 과정에 필수적입니다.
V-ATPase는 세포질 V1 도메인과 막관통 V0 도메인으로 구성되어 있으며, V1 도메인은 ATP 촉매 부위를 포함합니다.
이 유전자는 서로 다른 V1 도메인 C 소단위 이소폼을 암호화하는 대체 전사 스플라이스 변형체를 생성합니다.
