Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882) to ensure carrier-free conditions.
Target Information
Cellular retinoic acid binding protein (CRABP) is a low molecular weight protein with two isoforms, CRABP1 and CRABP2.
The human CRABP2 isoform shows 93.5% identity with mouse CRABP2 and plays a role in retinoic acid-mediated regulation of skin growth and differentiation.
The CRABP2 gene is located on chromosome 1q21.3 and is transcriptionally regulated by a newly synthesized regulatory protein.
It is expressed in human adult liver.
