Target Information
UBL4A is a component of the BAT3 complex, a multiprotein complex involved in the post-translational delivery of tail-anchored (TA) membrane proteins to the endoplasmic reticulum membrane.
UBL4A participates in the capture and transfer of newly synthesized TA membrane proteins by interacting with ASNA1/TRC40, aiding in their proper targeting to the ER membrane.
