Target Information
The P2Y2 gene encodes a G-protein coupled receptor responsive to adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor family includes multiple subtypes with overlapping pharmacological selectivity. It may play a role in regulating the cell cycle of endometrial carcinoma cells. Three transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
